The Kappa Pi Chapter of Sigma Nu was founded in 1985 at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. The founding fathers of our chapter are Dennis Klum, John Watkins, Eric Schallen, Jeffrey Hamilton, Brent Wiese, John Fricks, Ron Williams, and Emil Boncich.
Our vision is to create an atmosphere of men who not only want to work hard to build a strong chapter of leaders, but who also support each other’s individual values by working together to share Sigma Nu’s common vision of “Excelling With Honor.” We want men who can develop themselves as leaders by challenging the rest of their student community while simultaneously building lifelong friendships.
